Big Foot Bike Week

Yesterday afternoon and this morning we had some people from Big Foot to come in and teach us about bike safety. It was a really great reminder for us for the things we need to remember when riding a bike.

ANZAC Biscuits with Room 14

Today with buddies we made some ANZAC biscuits. There really YUM! We made these biscuits as in the war these were the biscuits sent to the soldiers by their wives.

Teddy bear picnic

Last Friday on book character day. We had a teddy bear picnic with our buddies at morning tea. We even sung the song!

Grandparents Visits

Today we were lucky enough to have four grandparents visit our room. We loved the stories they shared and we had a great discussion at the end about the change in technology. 

Thanks once again to the four lovely ladies (Bev, Dawn, Pauline and Lois) that came to visit us, we thorough enjoyed it!

Room 6 is full of talented people!

Sophie and some other people from Sunnyhills are part of a musical called The Little Mermaid. This is on from the 20th - 24th April at MPA. Check out this trailer and see if you can spot Sophie.

Welcome to literacy week!

Today Room 6 listened to the author Des Hunt speak to us about Writing. We loved how he made connections to writing with science.

Well done Kaylum for receiving this weeks certificate. Today is his last day as he moves to Australia tomorrow. We wish Kaylum all the best for Australia and we miss you already!
